Dr. Zeyun (Zane) Yu is a Professor of Computer Science and Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He also directs the Big Data Analytics and Visualization Lab. His research blends image processing, 3D geometric modeling, and scientific computing to develop advanced computational tools for biomedical imaging and visualization, including applications related to heart mechanics and mesh generation. Dr. Yu earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, and he has authored numerous research publications in scientific computing and biomedical image analysis.
