Zahid Syed
About
Zahid Syed is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics at the University of Michigan–Flint. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University, as well as a B.S. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University. At UM-Flint he teaches courses such as computer architecture, advanced networking, embedded computing, and systems architecture, and his research interests include computer and mobile security, behavioral biometrics, and data mining. He has published on topics such as keystroke dynamics and authentication systems and contributes to both teaching and research in security and computer systems.
