Vincent Ng, Ph.D. is a Professor of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas and Director of the Computing Scholars Honors Program. He is also affiliated with the Human Language Technology Research Institute. His research focuses on machine learning for natural language processing, including unsupervised and semi-supervised methods for NLP applications, discourse and coreference resolution, opinion and argumentation mining, and health-related NLP. He has served on editorial boards of major AI and NLP journals and as area chair for top conferences in artificial intelligence and NLP.
