Dr. Steven J. Zeil is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Old Dominion University, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and conducts research. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Ohio State University in 1981. His academic work has focused on areas such as software testing and reliability measurement, and more recently on issues in distance learning and digital libraries, including projects on metadata extraction and algorithm animation. At ODU he teaches a variety of programming and software engineering courses and provides extensive course materials and online resources for students
