About

Dr. Steve Petruzza received his M.S. and B.E. in computer engineering and his Ph.D. in School of Computing from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. His research activity started in the defense industry working on network centric multi-sensor data analysis and General Purpose computing on GPUs. During his PhD, Steve joined the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah and continued his research in high performance computing and data analytics as a research scholar and later as a PostDoctoral fellow.
