Dr. Sharath Raghvendra is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at North Carolina State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Duke University and his research focuses on designing efficient algorithms — especially in areas such as combinatorial optimization, computational geometry, geometric matching, and discrete algorithms. His work develops provable and fast algorithmic solutions for fundamental and applied optimization problems, and his research has been published in leading conferences and journals in theoretical computer science and machine learning. He is active in teaching and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in computer science
