About
Sathish Kumar is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Cleveland State University (CSU). Dr. Kumar is also serving as Director of ISCAR Research Lab at CSU. Dr. Kumar is also currently serving as an Associate Editor for PLOS One, IEEE Access and editorial board member of Nature Scientific Reports. He has prior experience in the industry for over a decade prior to joining academia as a full-time faculty in 2013. His research interests are in Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Quantum Computing/Quantum Machine Learning and related applications. Dr. Kumar has published more than 80 technical research papers in journals and international conference proceedings. His research has been supported by National Science Foundation, Air Force Research Laboratory, Cleveland Foundation, Center for Disease Control and National Institutes of Health. He has also served on the program committees of numerous international conferences, as a panelist for NSF. He obtained his Ph.D., in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisville, KY, US.
