Raj K. Bhatnagar is a Professor at the University of Cincinnati. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1989. His research and practice interests include data mining, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, uncertainty handling, and algorithms for bioinformatics. He has led and collaborated on numerous state, federal, industry, and non-profit funded research projects as a Principal Investigator and collaborator, with support from organizations such as the National Science Foundation, U.S. Air Force, Ohio Board of Regents, Department of Education, and industry partners. His scholarly work includes an extensive body of peer-reviewed publications spanning data mining, machine learning, bioinformatics, distributed systems, and uncertainty-based reasoning.
