Radu Sion is affiliated with the National Security Institute. He is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Stony Brook University (on leave). He has also founded and is currently running Private Machines Inc. Radu Sion obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University in 2004, M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from “Politehnica" University of Bucharest in 1999 and 1998, respectively.
