Dr. Nasser M. Nasrabadi is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. He earned his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology (University of London) and has held faculty and research positions at institutions such as Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the University at Buffalo, and West Virginia University, as well as senior research roles at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. His research and teaching interests include image processing, computer vision, machine learning, deep neural networks, biometrics, and sparsity theory.
