About
Dr. Min Shi is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Informatics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he leads the Medical AI Lab (MedAI). Having joined the faculty in August 2024, his research focuses on the intersection of Deep Learning, Graph Learning, and Healthcare, with a particular emphasis on the development of equitable and robust AI for disease screening. Dr. Shi brings significant interdisciplinary expertise from his postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he worked on advancing medical image analysis and bioinformatics through cutting-edge computational techniques.
