Md Amjad Hossain
About
Md. Amjad Hossain received a B.Sc. degree in computer science and Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Khulna, Bangladesh, in 2008. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Kent State University, Ohio, USA, in 2020. Hossain started working as a Lecturer at KUET immediately after his B.Sc. Later, he received a promotion to Assistant Professor and continued working at KUET until 2012. After his PhD, he worked as an assistant professor of computer science at Shepherd University, WV, for one year (2020-2021). He served as an Assistant Professor at Emporia State University, Kansas, USA, from Aug 2021 to July 2024. Now Hossain is working as an assistant professor of computer science at Columbus State University, GA. His research interests include distributed systems, multimedia computing and networking, Machine Learning, and Image Processing.
