Jing Li, PhD is the Arthur L. Parker Professor in the Department of Computer and Data Sciences at Case School of Engineering and a faculty member at the Cleveland Institute for Computational Biology. She also serves as a Professor in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences at the School of Medicine. Dr. Li develops computational approaches and software tools for genomics, bioinformatics, and systems biology, and creates innovative solutions for big data analytics. Her research spans computational biology, statistical and personal genomics, systems biology, and machine learning. She teaches courses in bioinformatics, algorithms, data mining, and machine learning, and has published extensively in high-impact journals on topics including drug repositioning, protein subcellular localization, and genome-wide association studies.
