Dr. Guillermo R. Sapiro is the Augustine Family Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University. He holds a Ph.D. from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and is internationally recognized for his work in computer vision, image analysis, machine learning, and mathematical imaging. His research has been applied in areas such as medical imaging, graphics, and AI, and he has authored hundreds of papers and holds multiple patents. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of IEEE and SIAM, and has served as founding Editor-in-Chief of the SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences
