Erman Ayday
About
Erman Ayday, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Data Sciences at the Case School of Engineering, Case Western Reserve University. He earned his Ph.D. (2011) and M.S. (2007) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and his B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2005. His research focuses on privacy-enhancing technologies, data security, and applied cryptography, with strong emphasis on genomic privacy, big data analytics, trust and reputation management, information retrieval, wireless sensor networks, and cybersecurity for smart and distributed systems. He has an extensive publication record in leading journals and conferences, particularly in genomic data privacy, differential privacy, and secure data analytics.
