About
I graduated with my Ph.D. From Virginia Tech (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University) in 2006. My research focus is on Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Visualization, and applied Machine Learning. I specifically try to help people find insight and patterns into large datasets. In my spare time I am a beekeeper and I love to watch nature grow. I am also interested in recommendation engines (also known as recommendation systems).
