Borst Christoph

Dr. Christoph W. Borst is the Hardy Edmiston Endowed Professor and Director of the CACS Virtual Reality (VR) Lab at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. A pioneer in immersive technologies, he established the university's VR lab in 2003 and has since led research into 3D interaction, scientific visualization, and haptics. His work frequently bridges the gap between complex data and human intuition, developing systems that allow users to "touch" virtual objects or navigate massive datasets in networked VR environments.
