About
I am the Chair and Professor in the Department of Computer Systems Technology (CST) at New York City College of Technology and a Doctoral Faculty member of The Graduate School and University Center’s PhD Program in Computer Science of the City University of New York (CUNY). My research is centered on Data Mining and Big Data Analytics. I am also interested Educational Data Mining Research. I received my MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from University at Albany, State University of New York. Prior to joining City Tech, I was a Research Software Design Engineer at Microsoft in Redmond, WA, where I worked on Core Algorithms team of Microsoft’s Search Engine Bing.
