Dr. Bryan Pardo is a Professor of Computer Science in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and also holds graduate training in music. His research sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, signal processing, and human‑computer interaction, with a focus on audio and music computing — developing systems that enable machines to hear, interpret, and generate sound and music.
